The development of box lacrosse as a training tool by the local high school coaches has been the reason for success of many of the affiliated high school teams with the Cleveland Junior Demons. Players from Hudson, Jackson, University School, Medina, Walsh Jesuit, Kent Roosevelt, Revere, Hoover, Archbishop Hoban, Wadsworth, St. Ignatius, St. Edward, and others have seen the success of their hard work in the Cleveland Junior Demons program. By competing in the Greater Cleveland Lacrosse Winter Box League and in tournaments in Indiana and Columbus, the players get the extra repetitions and development that their game needs to accelerate the learning process for the spring.
